Carl Lambert and Steppin Nifty Nic had a great first futurity. It was the first time for Steppin Nifty Nic to show in a futurity and oddly enough it was the first time for Lambert to show a three year old. “I have always wanted to show a three year old,” said Lambert, “and this horse was really fun and special to show. He is out of one of my favorite mares, Custom Nifty Nic. I did not get to show Nifty until she was 7, so getting to be the first one to Nic was great.”
