Spectators at the Southwest Reining Horse Association Futurity and Horse Show witnessed first class reining Friday, October 25, at the Hardy Murphy Coliseum in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Amidst ear-splitting applause, Einsteins Revolution, ridden by Ruben Vandorp, took control of the $10,000 Added Cinder Lakes Open, winning the class by one point with a 227.5. The Open Championship earned $3,836 for Einsteins Revolution – whose 2007 earnings exceed $180,000. Second in the Open went to Victoria Lambert’s great mare, Memorable Affair, ridden by Brent Wright. The pair marked 226.5, earning $2,630. Victoria was elated as this took the mare over the $100,000.00 mark. “Mabel is just such a special mare,” said Lambert, “she has been so very consistent.” “Todd Bergen told me the other day that the sign of a truly great horse is one that does well no matter who the rider is. That really fits this mare as she has been shown by Dell Hendricks, Jordan Larson and now Brent Wright. She is just a great show mare and loves the show ring. We have two babies by her so far and we are really looking forward to seeing them in the show ring.”
