Stampede Derby is taken by Justa Little Twisted March 2005 in Glenrose, TX.


Glen Rose attracted some big numbers this year for the annual Stampede with an added derby on the books. The dirt flew for three days this year with the 397 entires spinning and sliding for payouts totaling over $10,000 in payouts. Justa Little Twisted and Jordan Larson earned top prize in the Open Derby for owner Victoria Lambert, with a score of 147.5 for a payout of $806.80. Larson says the Dun it With A Twist mare’s best attribute is that she is ”…a huge stopper.” After the Stampede win, Lambert rode the mare at the NRBC and did well in the first go. Justa Little Twisted took home $2800.00
