Hot on the heels of the most successful-ever National Reining Breeders Classic, the NRBC has announced that its NRBC Mare Bonus will become a permanent part of the show.

The NRBC Mare Bonus was initiated at the 2007 NRBC and was such a popular addition that the NRBC Board, in a meeting on May 13, voted to continue rewarding the highest advancing/placing mares. In 2007, participation in the program was optional, but enough stallion owners participated to allow the Mare Bonus to pay $34,250, including $10,000 in added money from the NRBC.

Victoria Lambert’s Memorable Affair  ( Major Vaquero X Coronas Affair) was the top finishing mare in the Open division and she earned a mare bonus of $9,590, in addition to her other earnings.
