The 2005 Tulsa Jim Glover Futurity was certainly a great success. With great horses and riders competeing for $25,000 added in the open futurity one would expect some truly amazing runs. We were certainly not surprised that the field of 80 head of horses would have some outstanding scores. Tim McQuay won the class with a score of 223.5 on Great King Pine. Brian Bell put in an outstanding run on Lean With Hollywood for the second place finish, while Shawn Flarida took home third place honors on KR Lil Conquistador. Custom Nifty Nic, owned by Carl Lambert and ridden by Jordan Larson took home 6th place in this class and was the second high placing mare behind 5th place finisher, Starbucks Jewel.
