At the inaugural One HOT Reining Open Futurity the mares came out on top. Leading the way was Clint Haverty with Shesa Perfect Diamond and a score of 146.5. Chics Lady Kiper, owned by Carl Lambert of Caballo Rojo Ranch, was hot on her heels with a score of 146 with Jordan Larson in the saddle for Caballo Rojo Ranch.  Both mares had great runs and made this first reining held at the HOT Fair complex in Waco an exciting and competitive event.
