Good Time Whiz Girl is a 2005 AQHA mare by Topsail Whiz and is out of Good Time Show Girl. Good Time Whiz Girl  is one of the top earning Topsail Whiz mares in the Reining Horse world. In 2016 Good Time Whiz Girl was ranked one of the top 5 earning Topsail Whiz daughters. Caballo Rojo Ranch is proud to own quality reining horse mares that are some of the best in the industry. Caballo Rojo Ranch was proud to have Good Time Whiz Girl for all of her show career and the beginning of her breeding career. Carl Lambert picked this mare out and we purchased this very special mare at the NRHA Two Year Old Prospect Sale. Good Time Whiz girl had started her training with Ben Gerst and he was instrumental later in her life, as he had the opportunity to show her as a 4 year old. Jared Leclair took her as a three year old and showed her successful in the top futurities.  She was a top mare at the Rocky Mountain Slide, Cactus Classic Futurity and also the NRHA Futurity. Out of 342 horses entered in the Intermediate Open at the 2008 NRHA Futurity Good Time Whiz Girl had the second highest score in both the first and second goes of the Intermediate Open Futurity. In the Open, where 454 horses were entered she was 12th and 8th in the Open Futurity first and second goes.  Consequently, Jared Leclair made the NRHA Open Futurity Finals in 2008 and Good Time Whiz Girl was making a name for herself in the reining industry. Ben Gerst continued her winning show career with a great show at the Gordyville Breeders Cup in 2009. Later Sam Smith, of Sam Smith Reining Horses, took the reins and proved to be a successful team also. Sam went on to win 3rd at the prestigious AQHA World Show in the Junior Reining in 2010. Good Time Whiz Girl is so talented and good minded that she can even bring it down a notch for the Non Pro. Victoria Lambert and Good Time Whiz Girl, aka “Emily”, have been in the winners circle multiple times at some of the bigger events in the reining horse world. Good Time Whiz Girl was sold to Silver Spurs Equine in 2015,  we still have a number of her foals at the ranch and look forward to an embryo in either 2016 or 2017.
